Eric Smith

Eric Smith has over 18 years of extensive experience in event management, currently serving as Director at Events DC since April 2014. Previously, Eric held multiple roles, including Manager of Event Operations, Senior Event Manager, and Event Manager at Events DC. Prior experience includes serving as Event Manager at Greensboro Coliseum Complex from October 2006 to April 2014, where responsibilities involved coordinating a wide range of major events and supervising part-time event staffing. Eric began this career path as an Event Services Intern at Greensboro Coliseum Complex in 2005. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Performance with a concentration in Sports Management from Winston-Salem State University (2001-2005).
