Kenny Ford

Kenny Ford, CISSP, currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer at Events DC since May 2023. Prior to this role, Kenny held various key positions at the U.S. Department of Commerce, including Deputy Director, where responsibilities involved leading IT projects and advising on service delivery related to Cloud Services, IT Service Desk, Networks, Systems, and Cybersecurity. Previous roles also encompass Acting Director and IT Program Manager, where oversight of continuity of operations and emergency preparedness was critical. Kenny's extensive background in IT management includes founding ICE Network Systems LLC and serving as President for 15 years, along with managing enterprise services and national security programs at the U.S. Department of Commerce. Education includes a BS in Computer and Information Systems Security from Strayer University, with additional studies at the University of the District of Columbia.
