Leif Dormsjo

Leif Dormsjo is the Executive Vice President at Redgate, a position they have held since 2021. In this role, they have contributed to funding, finance, and project delivery work on major redevelopment and transportation projects, including Hoboken Terminal and Yard Redevelopment for New Jersey Transit; North Bethesda Metro Development for WMATA; the Union Station Expansion Project for InfrastructureDC; and the Security Square Mall Redevelopment in Baltimore County, where they served as the subject matter expert on due diligence, development planning, community outreach, and the solicitation strategy for a 90-acre mixed-use redevelopment. Leif is the Chairperson of Events DC, a role they have held since 2024, where the organization owns and manages venues such as the Washington Convention Center, Nationals Park, Entertainment & Sports Arena, RFK Stadium Campus, and DC Armory. They earned a BA in History from Wesleyan University (1993–1997) and a Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School (2003–2005).
