Scott Burrell

Scott Burrell is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in real estate and public sector law. Currently serving as Associate General Counsel for Events DC since September 2023, Burrell previously held positions including Deputy Executive Director at the City University of New York Office of Facilities Planning Construction and Management and General Counsel for the City University Construction Fund. Additional experience includes roles at Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP, Leftwich LLC, and various legal advisory positions within the District of Columbia government. Burrell holds a JD from SMU Dedman School of Law and a BA in Accounting from Hillsdale College.
