Michael Drew

Michael Drew is an accomplished Splunk Architect with extensive experience in designing, maintaining, and creating Splunk content across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Splunk Architect at EventX since March 2022 and as a Senior Splunk Architect at General Dynamics since November 2017, Michael has built a strong background in Splunk administration and engineering. Previous roles include Senior Splunk Architect positions at The Goal and Common Securitization Solutions, as well as consulting experience at Sierra-Cedar. Michael started a career in Splunk as an engineer at CompuCom and US Tech Solutions, where substantial projects involved the implementation of multiple Splunk servers for diverse internal teams. Earlier career highlights include providing enterprise tool support at Accenture and holding various leadership and security roles, alongside overseeing significant data center consolidation projects at Creative Computer Solutions. Michael holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Information Technology from Northern Virginia Community College.
