Muthu Kumar

Muthu Kumar has over 10 years of experience in UX and Product Management. Muthu began their career in 1999 as a Senior Interaction Designer for Web at Teembrains Technologies Pvt Ltd in Chennai, India. In 2002, they moved to Intiqua Technologies Pte Ltd as an eBusiness Consultant/Project Leader. Muthu then worked at Andale as a User Experience Designer in 2003. In 2005, they joined Kanbay - A Capgemini Group Company as a Senior User Experience Analyst. In 2006, they co-founded the Hyderbad Usability Professionals' Association (UPA) Chapter and served as Secretary. In 2007, they worked as a User Experience Architect at Allstate Insurance (Contract). In 2008, they were hired as a Manager - Information Architecture at Sapient. In 2009, they worked as a Consultant at Modis and as a User Experience Lead/Information Architect for Mobile and Web Applications at Nationwide Insurance. In 2017, they joined Eventzilla as President of UX & Product Management. In this role, they are responsible for leading product development, user experience, marketing and customer success. Muthu works closely with customers to understand their needs, prioritize and create product roadmaps, and detail specifications to develop a world-class event management and registration platform. Muthu is also responsible for improving key operating metrics related to sales, onboarding, and customer retention to help maximize the growth and profitability.

Muthu Kumar received their Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication from Bharathiar University between 1996 and 1999. In 2001, they completed an Advanced Diploma in Internet technologies from IDL in Chennai, India.
