Chao Xue

Chao Xue is currently an Engineering Manager at EvenUp, a position they have held since 2025. Prior to this role, Chao spent several years at Blend as a Software Engineer and later as Engineering Manager, where they contributed to various platform developments. They began their career in research, working at institutions such as the Blanchette Rockefeller Neurosciences Institute and the University of Maryland. In addition to their technical experience, Chao took a career break from 2022 to 2025 to focus on music production, planning to release a collection of original songs under the artist name "Xaochu." Chao pursued their education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they are earning a Bachelor of Science in Chemical-Biological Engineering and Mathematics.
