Bert Quak

Bert Quak is a Senior Software Engineer and Technical Product Owner at Everbridge since January 2022, focusing on the development and research of the Element Manager product within the Public Warning team. Prior to Everbridge, Bert served as a Senior R&D Engineer at one2many from September 2019 to December 2021, specializing in cell broadcast platforms. Bert's experience also includes a notable tenure at Transdev, where from May 2012 to August 2019, responsibilities included software engineering, architecture, and team leadership for the Route Beheer Systeem (RBS2) project and the EMS tool RBS Care. Earlier, Bert worked at Connexxion from November 2002 to April 2012, developing software for public transport systems, and completed an internship at the Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute in 2002. Bert holds a cum laude Master's degree in Technical Mathematics from Delft University of Technology, as well as a cum laude Bachelor's degree in the same field.
