Chuck Fields is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and product management within the critical event management domain. As Vice President of Engineering at Everbridge since January 2018, Chuck oversees the Critical Event Management solution aimed at enhancing safety and operational resilience for enterprises and public sector agencies. Prior to this role, Chuck served as Senior Director of Engineering at Everbridge, where oversight included the development of the Visual Command Center, a key component of the platform. Chuck's previous experience at IDV Solutions, including roles as Senior Director of Product Development and Director of Software Development, focused on enterprise risk visualization software, technical oversight, and customer engagement. With earlier positions as Senior Software Engineer at Munro & Associates and founding partner at Code Constructs, Chuck has demonstrated a strong foundation in software architecture, team leadership, and business operations. Additionally, Chuck contributed to academia as an instructor for Visual Basic programming at Lansing Community College.
