Leena Carmenates

Leena Carmenates is currently the Manager of Risk Intelligence at Everbridge, where they synthesize open-source information on critical global events. Previously, Leena served as a Senior Open Source Analyst, participating in real-time reporting on significant incidents such as the Paris terror attacks and the COVID-19 outbreak. Leena's career also includes roles as an Assistant Sub-Saharan Africa Regional Analyst at NC4 and an intern at the Florida Department of Emergency Management, where they drafted standard operating guidelines. They hold a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs and Middle Eastern Studies from Florida State University, followed by a Master of Science in Defense & Strategic Studies from Missouri State University and a Geospatial Intelligence Certificate from Radford University.
