Ron van Thiel

Ron van Thiel is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in designing innovative products across various industries, including electric vehicle charging systems at EverCharge and food service robots at Bear Robotics, Inc. Previous roles involved developing food allergen testers at Nima Labs and POS coffee roasters at Carbine Coffee. As a senior consultant, Ron contributed to consumer products in LED lighting and medical devices, and at Soraa, played a key role in expanding product lines with proprietary LED technology. Ron's engineering leadership is further demonstrated through positions at CKC Engineering, BritePointe, Flextronics, and Finelite, where impactful projects in medical and industrial applications were successfully executed. Ron holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
