Matt Deane

Matt Deane currently serves as the Head of Physical Security at Evercore, a position held since July 2023. Previously, Matt held the role of Vice President of Physical Security at The Blackstone Group from December 2017 to August 2023. Prior to that, Matt was the Director of Security Systems and Business Continuity for the New York Yankees from October 2008 to December 2017, where responsibilities included managing various elements of security and business continuity for Yankee Stadium. Matt also served as the Director of Homeland Security Standards at the American National Standards Institute from August 1996 to October 2008, where Matt initiated the ANSI Homeland Security Standards Panel. Educational qualifications include a BA in Political Science from Bates College, an MBA in Management Systems from Fordham Gabelli School of Business, and a certification from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management focused on understanding security as a business asset.
