Michael Shilling

Michael Shilling is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment banking and asset management. Currently serving as Managing Director at Evercore since May 2019, Michael has previously held roles as Vice President and Associate within the same firm. Prior to Evercore, Michael worked at P. Schoenfeld Asset Management focusing on Distressed Credit & Special Situations from July 2014 to April 2019, and was involved in Industrials M&A at Rothschild from July 2012 to June 2014. Michael began career at Rothschild as a Summer Analyst in 2011 and completed internships at Ernst & Young in Quality and Risk Management and UBS Wealth Management. Educationally, Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University, where studies were completed from 2008 to 2012.
