Mark Eaton has a diverse work experience spanning from 1998 to 2022. Mark began their career as a Marketing Intern at the LaSalle Banks Chicago Marathon in 1998. From 1998 to 2001, they worked as an Account Manager at UPSHOT, where they developed and executed integrated brand strategies and marketing programs for various clients.

In 2001, Mark joined Thomson Gale as a Senior Account Manager, responsible for promoting and selling electronic educational products to the K-12 and public library market. Mark later served as the K12 Curriculum Team Leader for a brief period before moving on to become an Inside Sales Manager at Gale, Cengage Learning. In this role, they managed a sales team, exceeding sales goals in four out of five fiscal years.

Mark continued their career at Cengage Learning, where they held the positions of Manager of Sales & Customer Care and Director of Customer Care and Subscription Services from 2009 to 2014. During this time, they focused on customer success, account management, and sales.

In 2014, Mark became the Vice President of Customer Success at LevelEleven, leading the Customer Success and Account Management teams. Mark played a crucial role in optimizing key customer success metrics and implementing renewal and retention processes.

From 2015 to 2017, Mark served as the Director of Sales at Odilo, where they developed and implemented strategic sales plans, contributing to significant YoY growth and establishing the brand as a leader in foreign language content solutions.

Following their tenure at Odilo, Mark joined Moviereelist.com in 2017 as a Film and TV Critic, reviewing films and TV series from various platforms.

In 2017, Mark also took on the role of Director of Partner Relations at Everdays, a media platform focused on funeral services. Mark analyzed and developed new opportunities for sales and customer success, driving new accounts through channel partners.

Most recently, Mark joined Cengage Group in 2022 as the Sales Director for Public Libraries, where they continue to contribute to the company's growth.

Mark Eaton attended West Bloomfield High School from 1990 to 1994. After completing their high school education, they enrolled at the University of Michigan from 1994 to 1998. At the university, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, although the field of study is not specified.
