Derek Newbold

Derek Newbold has a vast and well-rounded work experience. Derek is currently the Co-CTO / Chief Enterprise Architect & Co-Founder at Everee, where they started in February 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at Teem from June 2017 to January 2019. Before that, they held the position of Chief Technology Officer at InMoment from May 2014 to June 2017. Derek also worked at Mindshare Technologies, where they had several roles including Chief Technology Officer from May 2013 to May 2014, Senior Vice President of Engineering from May 2011 to May 2013, and Vice President of Technology from September 2005 to June 2011. Earlier in their career, Derek worked as a Senior Software Architect at Ingenix from September 2002 to September 2005 and as a Senior Software Engineer at Bluestep from January 2000 to September 2002. Derek began their career as a Software Developer at Medicode / Ingenix / UnitedHealth Group from July 1996 to January 2000 and before that, they worked as a Level III THX/Premier Support at Packard Bell \\ NEC from July 1994 to July 1996.

Derek Newbold began their education at Salt Lake Community College from 1994 to 1997, where they pursued an Associates degree in Computer Science. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Utah, where they studied from 1997 to 2000 and earned a Bachelors degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Software Development.
