Dan Simpelo is an accomplished actuarial professional with diverse experience in both medical and insurance fields. Currently serving as an Actuarial Student at Everest since June 2023, Dan has previously held the position of Actuarial Analyst I in New York. Prior to this, Dan accumulated significant experience at Montefiore Medical Center as a Staff Registered Nurse in Surgical Progressive Care from February 2016 to June 2023. Additionally, Dan gained valuable experience as a Reinsurance Pricing Intern at Everest Reinsurance Company in the summer of 2022 and as an Actuarial/Underwriting Intern at RenaissanceRe in mid-2021. Dan demonstrated leadership and engagement in the actuarial community through roles such as Vice President and AVP Relations for the Baruch Actuarial Science Society.
