David Mann

David Mann is an accomplished insurance professional with extensive experience in casualty and professional lines. Currently serving as the Head of Casualty and Professional Lines at Everest Reinsurance Company since January 2023, David previously held significant roles at AXA XL, including Senior Underwriter and Line of Business Manager, as well as Head of London Market Casualty - Reinsurance, from January 2014 to January 2023. Prior to AXA XL, David was Vice President and Deputy Casualty Underwriter at XL Re, focusing on reinsurance casualty underwriting from November 2010 to January 2014, and served as a VP at Guy Carpenter from September 2006 to November 2010. David began the career as a Special Projects Assistant at Markel International from September 2003 to September 2006. An alumnus of the University of Sussex, David holds a 2.1 degree in Geography. Specialization includes General Liability, Employers Liability, Professional Indemnity, and Directors & Officers Liability across various territories outside the USA.
