Jim Thomas serves as the Global Head of Credit and Political Risk at Everest Insurance®, a position held since April 2016, where oversight includes a leading range of product capabilities supported by Everest Insurance's strong financial foundation. Additionally, Jim holds the position of Member of the Board of Directors at Everest Insurance Ireland, dac, since November 2017, playing a key role in the company's expansion across the European Union. Prior to joining Everest, Jim was the Head of Credit and Political Risk at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd from October 2000 to March 2016. Jim's educational background includes studies at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and the University of Florida.
