John Lago

John Lago is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in claims management and litigation. Currently serving as the Team Leader of the TPA Oversight Group at Everest Insurance® since February 2021, John has a robust background in professional liability insurance from a previous role as a Senior Claims Specialist at ProSight Specialty Insurance. An adjunct professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University from 2007 to November 2020, John taught courses in Civil Litigation, Torts, and Ethics. John's litigation experience includes positions as a Trial Attorney at the Law Offices of Nancy Callegher and as a Partner at the Law Offices of Lago & O’Toole. John holds a Juris Doctor from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Rutgers University.
