Michael Karmilowicz

Michael Karmilowicz is an accomplished insurance executive with extensive experience in specialty lines and management. Currently serving as President of Everest Specialty Underwriters since July 2015, Michael's responsibilities encompass management of various specialty lines, including professional, transactional, surety, and credit & political risk. Prior to this, Michael held key positions at Zurich Financial Services, where as Executive Vice President, responsibilities expanded within North America Specialty businesses, achieving successful turnarounds for unprofitable segments. Earlier career roles included Vice President at The Hartford and Reliance National, managing diverse business segments and teams. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Villanova University, earned in 1991.
