Michael McCarthy

Michael McCarthy is a seasoned insurance professional with extensive experience in casualty underwriting. Currently serving as a Senior Casualty Underwriter at Everest since November 2023, Michael previously held the position of Senior Underwriter, Casualty at Liberty Specialty Markets (Asia Pacific) from August 2017 to November 2023. Prior roles include Casualty Underwriter in the Global Accounts Division at Chubb from January 2011 to July 2017, as well as earlier experience as an Underwriter at QBE Insurance from 2004 to 2010. Michael holds a Diploma of General Insurance from The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (2009-2011) and completed secondary education at De La Salle College (1998-2003).
