Patrick Toohey

Patrick Toohey is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in military leadership and strategic initiatives. Currently serving as Vice President of Retail Property and Head of North America Strategic Initiatives at Everest since February 2023, Toohey previously held roles including Fellow at the Special Operators Transition Foundation and Special Forces Battalion Commander at the United States Army Special Operations Command, where responsibilities included managing course standards and training for 2,200 Special Forces students. A notable tenure as Special Forces Battalion Commander at the 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne) involved leading over 4,000 multinational forces in Afghanistan. Earlier experience includes serving as Deputy Director of the Warrior Care Program at Headquarters, US Special Operations Command, and a decade-long role at the 7th Special Forces Group in various leadership positions. Patrick Toohey holds a Master of Science in Technology Management and an MBA from Florida Institute of Technology, in addition to a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from Saint Leo University.
