Carmen Gross has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Carmen started their career as an Advertising Sales Director at the Madison County Journal in 2008 and held this position until 2009. From there, they joined Hometown Medical as a Marketing/Sales Representative from September 2009 to October 2010.
In 2010, they moved to the American Heart Association and worked as the Go Red For Women & Heart Ball Director from November 2010 to November 2014.
In 2014, Carmen joined EVERFI as an Implementation Specialist and held this role from November 2014 to June 2019. Carmen then progressed to the position of Director of Implementation at EVERFI in July 2019, where they excelled in surpassing student enrollment, retention, and market share targets. Carmen played a significant role in establishing strong partnerships with various stakeholders, agencies, and communities to drive profitable growth in Mississippi and Arkansas. Their contributions enabled the activation of over 125,000 students and 3,600 courses across the region.

Carmen Gross completed their education at the University of Mississippi from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Merchandising and Buying Operations. Prior to their university education, Carmen attended Jackson Preparatory School from 1993 to 1999, but did not receive a degree or pursue any specific field of study at that time. Moreover, Carmen has also acquired additional certifications, including "How to Build Rapport Quickly" and "How to Speak So People Want to Listen" from LinkedIn, which they obtained in May 2023.
