Nancy Goodman

Nancy Goodman has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Teacher and Curriculum Developer at Cesar Chavez Public Charter Schools for Public Policy from 2007 to 2010. During this time, they also served as the Public Policy Coordinator for the middle school, implementing a cross-curricular program.

From 2010 to 2012, Nancy worked at iCivics Inc. as a Curriculum Coordinator. In this role, they designed and wrote curriculum resources for social studies teachers, with a focus on integrating online games into the curriculum.

In 2012, Nancy joined the DC Public Education Fund as a Contracted Instructional Designer. Here, they played a crucial role in developing an e-learning and calibration platform for teacher observers, aligning it with the Teaching and Learning Framework.

In 2019, Nancy ventured into the field of birth and bereavement doula services, providing their expertise across the Washington DC region through Supported Birthing DC.

Currently, Nancy is the Director of Learner Experience, Content & Editorial at EVERFI. Nancy joined this company in 2020, and in 2021, they took on the role of Director of Product Management.

In addition to their formal education, Nancy Goodman holds a certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), which they obtained from the Scrum Alliance in May 2021.
