Jason Jong has worked for several companies in various roles since 2000. Jason began their career as a Software Contractor at the Office of the Employment Advocate, where they delivered the first dynamic Intranet for the organisation. Jason then moved to the Workplace Authority as IT Development/Technical Manager, managing a highly technical team and delivering and maintaining mission critical systems. In 2009, they joined Cornerstone Technologies as a Senior Consultant, providing consulting services, formulating solutions, and delivering the end product. In 2011, they co-founded the new start-up company, Hubblr, with Cornerstone Technologies. In 2012, they joined Brandscreen as a Senior Software Engineer, helping the organisation improve its high performing web application. In 2014, they moved to Colonial First State as a Solution Designer, delivering solution designs for NetBank's Essential Super. Finally, in 2016, they joined Evergen as a Cloud Architect, designing a scalable, highly available robust architecture for Evergen's unique IoT architecture using Microsoft Azure cloud.
Jason Jong's education history includes a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Technology Sydney, obtained between 1998 and 2002. Jason then obtained a Master's Degree in Master of Systems Development from Charles Sturt University between 2004 and 2006. In addition, they have obtained three certifications: ITIL Foundation v3.0 from AXELOS Global Best Practice in December 2007, Microsoft Certified Solution Developer from Microsoft in September 2006, and Microsoft Certified Application Developer from Microsoft in June 2005.
