Sofie's extensive experience includes over a decade at Tereos as an R&D engineer focused on product and process development, and earlier work at Tate & Lyle in a similar capacity. Sofie holds a PhD in Agricultural and Applied Biological Sciences from KU Leuven, along with a Bio-engineer degree in the same field, specializing in Food Chemistry, also from KU Leuven.
