Michael Patrick has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Michael began their career at Shop Rite Corp as a Cashier/Grocery Clerk, where they quickly excelled and was promoted to Grocery Clerk within six months. Michael then worked at Houlihan's Restaurants, Inc. as an Expediter/Line Cook, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills and multitasking abilities. Moving on, they joined The Cheesecake Factory as a Sauce Cook, focusing on food preparation and maintaining a safe workplace environment.
In 2008, Michael transitioned to Marathon Enterprises, where they worked as a Packer/Shipper. Michael'sdedication to accuracy and flexibility allowed him to successfully manage inventory and fulfill customer orders. Michael also became a certified Barclay forklift operator during their time there.
Michael gained experience in the pharmaceutical industry at Oncolink Therapeutics as an Intern, where they synthesized molecular models and carried out stability/kinetic testing. Michael then interned at Liquid Light, Inc. (CO2-to-chemicals), where they demonstrated flexibility and a willingness to learn by assisting with various tasks and developing procedures.
In 2013, Michael joined Rutgers University and worked as an Organic Chemistry Lab Assistant, contributing to the synthesis of needed molecules and safely performing reactions. Simultaneously, they served as an Entomology Research Assistant, where they helped in the construction and maintenance of an insect enclosure, showcasing their problem-solving abilities and teamwork skills.
Michael continued their career in the research field at Venenum BioDesign, LLC as a Research Associate. Michael quickly became proficient in operating laboratory equipment and presented experimental results to research groups. Subsequently, they worked at Akorn Pharmaceuticals, starting as a Quality Control Chemist I and progressing to Quality Control Chemist III. Michael played a lead role in the company-wide remediation effort and QC lab move, conducted instrument qualification and method validation, and participated in IQ/OQ/PQ activities.
Most recently, Michael joined Evergreen Theragnostics as a QA Manager, overseeing quality assurance processes.
