Svend Krogsgaard has extensive work experience in the engineering and research and development (R&D) fields. Svend started their career as a Design Engineer at B&W Diesel A/S in 1984 and worked there until 1988. Svend then joined MAN B&W Diesel A/S, where they took on various roles including CAD Coordinator, Project Manager, and Head of Software & Maturing in the R&D department. In 2006, they moved to MAN Diesel and held the position of Head of Maturing & EPE in the R&D department until 2012. From 2012 to 2020, Svend served as the Head of Basic Software & Electronics and later as the Head of Systems Automation Basic Platform at MAN Diesel & Turbo. Svend is currently working at MAN Energy Solutions as the Head of Cyber Security & Safety - Automation, a role they started in 2020.
Svend Krogsgaard's education history includes attending Gladsaxe Gymnasium from 1976 to 1979, where they obtained their upper secondary education degree with a focus on Mathematics and Physics.
