Patrick O'Connor

Patrick O'Connor is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in AI, data science, and engineering. Currently serving as a Director at Everon since August 2019, Patrick previously held the role of AI/Data Science Project Manager at Medtronic until June 2024, where responsibilities included developing data management strategies and leading AI/ML initiatives for image analytics in global manufacturing. Prior to Medtronic, Patrick was a Data Scientist at Seagate Technology from 2009 to 2018, focusing on scalable computer vision solutions and strategic AI roadmap development within semiconductor manufacturing. Patrick's early career included roles as a Servo Senior Engineer and Servo Firmware Engineer, where expertise in servo systems and firmware development was established, as well as experience as an Electrical Engineer at Twisthink, involved in electronic equipment design. Patrick earned a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and has a foundational education from the University of Delaware.
