Daniel Engel

Daniel Engel has a diverse background in software development and infrastructure management. Daniel has most recently worked as a Senior DevOps Architect at EverOps, LLC since September 2015. Prior to that, they worked as a Freelance Software Architect at Engel Consulting, Inc., where they implemented and deployed various client projects and academic solutions from April 2014 to September 2015.

Before that, Daniel worked as a Senior DevOps Engineer at Bandwidth.com from January 2013 to April 2014. Their responsibilities included developing and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure using Amazon Web Services, streamlining processes, and supporting the growing infrastructure.

From 2003 to 2012, Daniel worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Tekelec, where they designed and implemented a global infrastructure for remote product development and deployed remote development centers in multiple locations. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Consultant at Configuration Management, Inc. from 2000 to 2002, consulting and creating more efficient infrastructures for various industries.

Daniel also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Nortel Networks from 1995 to 1999, where they migrated a newly acquired company to the corporate software development process and designed packaging tools and databases for product versions. Daniel was also a Software Engineer at Nortel Networks from 1995 to 1996, where they created a packaging system and automated installation and configuration processes.

At the beginning of their career, Daniel worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant at Rochester Institute of Technology from 1993 to 1996. Daniel produced course material, graded assignments, and mentored students.

Daniel Engel attended Rochester Institute of Technology from 1991 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
