Simon Backhouse

Simon Backhouse has held various roles in the past 17 years, beginning in 2005 with Arcadia Group Ltd. There, they held five roles, including Buying & Merchandising Finance Manager - BHS & Burton, Central Costs Manager - Miss Selfridge, Buying & Merchandising Finance Analyst - Dorothy Perkins, Retail Finance Analyst - Topshop & Topman, and Central Costs Analyst - Shared Services. In 2010, they joined ASOS.com, where they held three roles, including General Manager - USA, Head of Finance - Retail & Trading, and Senior Finance Manager. From 2016 to 2018, they held a Consultancy & ST contracts with Micheal Kors, House of Fraser, Swoon, and Goodbye Bread. Lastly, in 2022, they joined EVERPRESS as Chief Operating Officer.

Simon Backhouse obtained their A-levels from Thomas Rotherham College between 1998 and 2000, studying French, Business Studies, and Economics. From 2001 to 2005, they attended Nottingham Trent University and earned a BA (Hons) in Business & Financial Services with a 2:1. Simon then went on to The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants to obtain a CIMA Qualified certification from 2006 to 2009.
