Andrew Ferguson

Andrew Ferguson has extensive work experience in software engineering. Andrew is currently a Senior Software Engineer II at EverQuote since October 2021. Previously, they worked at Liberty IT, where they held multiple roles. Andrew was a Principal Software Engineer from January 2021 to October 2021, a Senior Software Engineer from October 2018 to January 2021, and a Software Engineer from September 2016 to October 2018. In their role as a Software Engineer, they were responsible for implementing a global company home page using technologies such as Reactjs, Redux, Nodejs, and Spring Boot microservices. Andrew began their career at Liberty IT as an Associate Software Engineer from July 2015 to September 2016.

Andrew Ferguson received their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Queen's University Belfast, which they attended from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Ballymena Academy, from 2004 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Andrew has obtained certifications in various fields. In December 2016, they completed the UX Foundation Training from UXTraining.com. In March 2014, they became an Oracle Certified Associate, specializing in Java SE 5/SE 6. Lastly, in September 2019, they obtained the Amazon Web Services Developer - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
