Brian Multhauf has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Starting in 2005, they worked as a Chef De Partie at Sent Sovi, where they led a team of two cooks and was responsible for preparing all products for service. From 2006 to 2010, they worked at Bouchon Bakery, initially as a Lead Line Cook and later as a Chef De Partie. In these roles, they led teams, maintained quality standards, and contributed to the hiring and training process.
Brian transitioned to the tech industry in 2011, starting as a Student Teacher at Sonoma Valley High School, where they prepared and executed lesson plans and provided individual tutoring to students. Brian also worked as a Substitute Teacher for the Napa Valley Unified School District during the same period.
In 2011, Brian took on an internship role at WeLike LLC, where they refactored code and implemented authentication and authorization solutions.
From 2013 to 2017, Brian served as a Senior Software Engineer at Location Inc., where they were a founding member of the in-house development team. Their responsibilities included maintaining and updating legacy code, developing and testing new features, integrating products with external services, and deploying code. Brian worked on three products: NeighborhoodScout, SecurityGauge, and NeighborhoodScoutReports.
Currently, Brian works at EverQuote as a Senior Software Engineer II, starting in 2017.
Brian Multhauf has a diverse education history. Brian began their academic journey at the California Culinary Academy in 2004, where they pursued a degree in Culinary Arts and successfully completed their studies in 2005.
Afterward, they decided to further their education in the field of Mathematics. From 2008 to 2010, Brian attended Sonoma State University, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics.
Continuing their studies at Sonoma State University, Brian pursued a single-subject Mathematics Credential from 2010 to 2011, further specializing in this subject.
In addition to their academic achievements, Brian Multhauf obtained a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster from the Scrum Alliance in October 2016.
