Gene Suzuki

Gene Suzuki has a diverse and extensive work experience. Gene worked at EverQuote from 2012, starting as the VP of Technology Operations and later becoming the CIO in November 2015. Gene also served as an Advisory Board Member for Per Scholas starting in 2021. In addition, Gene founded and served as the President and CEO of Valtech, Inc. since 1994. Gene held multiple roles at Digital Guardian (formerly Verdasys), including VP of Technology Solutions where they managed a Federal systems engineering team and led engagements with Federal and G2000 clients. Gene also worked as a Director of Federal Sales Engineering. Before that, they were a Senior Technical Lead at Sunflower Systems, where they oversaw a JFMIP-compliant Federal lifecycle asset management system and contributed to a large ERP implementation.

Gene Suzuki attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute from 1992 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. In 2006, they obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)².
