Gill McCune

Gill McCune has a diverse range of work experience in user experience design, research, and consulting. Gill is currently employed as a User Experience Designer at EverQuote since March 2023. Prior to this, Gill co-owned Scaped Nature since January 2019. Gill also worked as a freelance User Experience Consultant for various companies from December 2008 to February 2022.

Gill has also worked as a Women's Natural Health Practitioner at Well Woman from September 2016 to January 2020. Gill gained experience as a Senior User Researcher (contract) at LexisNexis UK from February 2014 to November 2014. Before that, they worked as a Senior Insights Consultant (contract) at we are experience from August 2013 to January 2014.

Gill's previous roles include User Research Lead (contract) at Vodafone in August 2012, Lead UX Design & Research consultant (contract) at Bodog UK from July 2011 to March 2012, and Lead User Experience Researcher (contract) at BSkyB from January 2011 to June 2011. Gill started their career as a User Experience Researcher (contract) at MSN/Microsoft from June 2009 to June 2010.

Throughout their career, Gill has gained extensive experience in conducting user research, developing digital strategies, designing user experiences, and managing external agencies. Gill has worked on various projects involving website and app redevelopment, information architecture, brand perception, and search engine integration.

Gill McCune completed their International General Certificate of Secondary Education at Verdala International School from 1995 to 1997, though no specific field of study was mentioned. Following this, they attended Impington Village College from 1997 to 1999 and pursued a diverse range of subjects including Psychology, English, Biology, Geography, Math studies, and Russian, earning an International Baccalaureate. Finally, Gill studied Psychology at the University of Glasgow from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained an MA (Hons) degree.
