Jie Xu

Jie Xu has a diverse work experience, starting with being a Web Developer at EverQuote in 2016. Prior to that, Jie was an Apprentice Ruby on Rails Developer at Launch Academy, Inc, where they incorporated Test Driven Development and designed PostgreSQL databases for web applications. Jie also worked as a PHD Candidate at the University of Washington, where they investigated solid oxide fuel cell electrolyte materials and taught a class on Heat Transport Processes. Before that, they were a Clinical Research Coordinator at Johns Hopkins University, organizing and administering studies on systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Lastly, Jie was an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Dartmouth College.

Jie Xu completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Molecular Biology and Chemistry from Dartmouth College. This occurred between 2006 and 2010. Later, between 2013 and 2015, Jie pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington.
