Josh Silvia

Josh Silvia has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Josh started their career at Acquisition Labs as a Software Engineering Intern, where they played a role in improving and maintaining a data analytics marketing platform. During this time, they worked on developing a back-end data analytics web application using Python.

Later, Josh joined EverQuote as a Quality Engineering/IT Ops System Engineering Intern. Here, they collaborated with the Quality Engineering team and created automated feature tests for various site flows using Capybara, Ruby, and Selenium. Josh also implemented mobile test automation for Android and iOS using Appium. Additionally, Josh worked on standardizing inventory of devices and creating Mail Merge email form requests using Google Forms and JavaScript.

Josh continued to grow at EverQuote and advanced in their roles. Josh started as a Software Engineer and later transitioned into the role of Technical Lead, Health Insurance Vertical. In these roles, they contributed to developing software solutions and took on responsibilities in leading technical initiatives.

Currently, Josh holds the position of Senior Software Engineer at EverQuote. Josh'swork involves designing and developing software solutions, leveraging their expertise and experience gained throughout their career.

Josh Silvia attended the University of Maine in 2013, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. In 2014, they transferred to the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where they continued their studies in Computer Science. Josh completed their Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2017.
