Michaela Smith

Michaela Smith, CPA, is an experienced accounting professional currently serving as Assistant Controller at EverQuote since November 2022, after previously holding the position of Accounting Manager. Prior to EverQuote, Michaela worked at Arbor Biotechnologies as Accounting Manager and Senior Accountant from October 2019 to November 2022. Michaela began her career at EY in various roles, including Commercial Assurance Senior and Assurance Intern, where exposure to diverse clients in sectors such as healthcare and pension funds was gained. Additional experience includes banking and auditing internships at The Summit Federal Credit Union and Boys and Girls Clubs of America, along with volunteer work with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program. Michaela holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst.
