Simon Hammond

Simon Hammond is a Partner at Eversheds Sutherland (International) LLP, where they serve as the Director of Business Acceptance, overseeing the firm's business acceptance processes and policies within the Governance and Compliance team. Simon manages a team of analysts and lawyers, acts as the senior escalation point for legal and commercial conflicts, and actively participates in the firm's New Client Acceptance Committee and Ethics Committee. They have extensive experience in conflicts management and compliance, previously serving in various roles at Eversheds, including Senior Associate and Head of Conflicts and AML. Simon began their legal career as a Trainee Solicitor at DLA Piper and holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from The University of Manchester and a Legal Practice Course commendation from Nottingham Law School.
