Steve Smith

Steve Smith is a partner at Eversheds Sutherland, specializing in Corporate Crime & Investigations within the Financial Services Disputes & Investigations group. With extensive experience in financial crime, Smith previously held roles such as a Senior Associate at Roiter Zucker and a Legal Technical Specialist at the Financial Conduct Authority, where they focused on market abuse and financial crime. Prior to joining Eversheds in 2018, Smith served as Deputy Head of Financial Crime for the EMEA region at Nomura International Plc and held leadership positions at Barclays Wealth and Investment Management. Smith is currently a member of the Board of Trustees at Summit Learning Trust and continues education in Political Science and Government at the University of Kent.
