Denise Bartone

Denise Bartone is an experienced environmental professional with a strong background in licensing, permitting, and environmental compliance. Currently, as Director of Licensing & Permitting at Eversource Energy since January 2013, Denise has progressed through roles including Supervisor and Manager in the same department, leading teams in Eastern Massachusetts and New Hampshire to achieve environmental project milestones. Prior to this, Denise worked as a Senior Environmental Engineer, overseeing significant construction projects and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. Denise's experience also includes tenure as a Project Manager at CDW Consultants Inc., where project implementation for various clients was managed, and as Environmental Affairs Coordinator for the Town of Franklin, overseeing municipal programs and vendor contracts. Denise holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Rutgers University.
