Gerard Vanderpool

Gerard Vanderpool has extensive experience in electrical and distribution engineering, primarily with Eversource Energy, where roles included Grade 4 and Grade 3 Distribution Engineer positions from July 2021 to July 2024, following a structured rotation through various engineering departments. Notable contributions include a capstone project focused on alternatives to SF6 insulating gas for medium and high voltage switchgear. Prior to Eversource, Gerard worked as a Distribution Engineer at Leidos, where expertise in the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) standards and GIS tools was demonstrated, as well as mentoring new employees and managing client relationships.
