Joe LaPorta

Joe LaPorta, PE, is an electrical engineer currently working in the utility industry, with a focus on renewable energy and control systems. Joe has held various roles, including Operations Manager and Supervisor in Electric Field Operations at Eversource Energy, as well as positions at Northeast Utilities and Advanced Environmental Interface, Inc. Joe earned both an MBA and a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of Hartford, where they also served as an adjunct faculty member. In addition to their professional interests, Joe enjoys exploring analog audio electronic circuits, particularly those utilizing vacuum tubes.
