John Moreira

John Moreira, CPA, is an accomplished financial executive with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as the Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer at Eversource Energy, John has previously held senior financial roles, including Senior Vice President - Finance & Regulatory and Treasurer, as well as Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis. Prior to Eversource Energy, John gained valuable experience at NSTAR Electrical & Gas Corporation, where positions included Director of Investor Relations & Financial Reporting. Early career roles involved serving as Assistant Controller at both Eastern Utilities Associates and Eastern Utilities. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the Charlton School of Business at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and an MBA from Curry College.
