Michael Licata

Michael Licata is a seasoned professional in government affairs and public policy with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as Director of Government Affairs at Eversource Energy since August 2022, Licata has previously held key positions including Vice President of Member Services and Public Affairs at New Hampshire Electric Cooperative, Inc. and Director of Government and Community Relations at Liberty Utilities. Licata has a strong background in legislative advocacy and stakeholder outreach, having represented various organizations before state and local governments, and effectively managed public relations campaigns for infrastructure projects. Earlier career roles include Vice President of Public Policy at the Business and Industry Association of New Hampshire, Federal Government Relations Associate at Northeast Utilities, and Senior Legislative Assistant to Congressman Jeb Bradley. Licata holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from Saint Anselm College.
