Leanna Duncan

Leanna Duncan has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Leanna is currently working at Everspring as an Associate Director of Faculty Engagement, where they oversee the training and consultation of faculty in running online graduate courses. Prior to this, they held the position of Faculty Engagement Specialist at Everspring, where they managed calendars and data for multiple university partners and curated thought leadership pieces and webinars. Leanna also worked as a Graduate Affiliate at the Center for Innovation in Teaching & Learning (CITL), University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and held various roles at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, including Instructor of Record, Teaching Assistant, Course Preparation Assistant, and Research Assistant. Leanna also served as a Summer Teaching Assistant at Johns Hopkins Center For Talented Youth (CTY) and interned at the Smithsonian Institution: Anacostia Community Museum. Additionally, Leanna has experience as a Testing Center Proctor at Tulsa Community College, retail work at Ehrle's Party Supply, and as a Work Study employee at the University of Tulsa. Leanna began their career as a Child Care Aide at Castle Child Care and Learning Center.

Leanna Duncan has a strong educational background in History. Leanna obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2021, a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree from the University of Tulsa in 2014, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History from The University of Tulsa in 2014. Prior to their university education, Leanna Duncan completed their high school education with an IB Diploma, specializing in English, Theatre Arts, and Chemistry at Wichita High School East in 2009. Additionally, they have obtained numerous certifications from LinkedIn in various subjects such as data fluency, managing up as an employee, PowerPoint design, Excel skills, leadership development, neuroscience, diversity, inclusion, and cultural sensitivity.
