Vinod Kumar

Vinod Kumar is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the telecommunications industry. Currently serving as Vice Chairman at Everstone Group since September 2023, Vinod previously held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Vodafone Business from September 2019 to February 2024. Prior to this, Vinod was Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director at Tata Communications from April 2004 to July 2019, where involvement included key international acquisitions. Vinod's career also includes a role as Senior Vice President at Pacnet, responsible for strategy and market growth, and Chief Executive Officer at AZ.WORLDCOM JAPAN CO., LTD. Vinod's formative career years included various leadership roles at GlobalOne and Sprint International, where significant achievements included establishing a leading data services business in India. Vinod holds a BSc degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, obtained in 1987.
