Joe Calzone

Joe Calzone has a diverse and extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Joe is currently the Director of Broadband Stimulus Business Development at Everstream, where they develop partnerships and opportunities to construct new fiber networks using federal funding. Prior to this, Joe worked at MIDTEL as the Director of Marketing & Business Development, responsible for product development, marketing, and sales of network products. Joe also held the position of Vice President of US Service Provider Sales & Support at LightRiver Technologies.

Before that, Joe worked at Atlantic Tele-Network, Inc. as the President of ION and Vice President & GM of ION, where they successfully obtained grants and oversaw the construction of a middle mile broadband network. Joe also served as the President of ION - Empire State Independent Network LLC, where they played a crucial role in designing and installing a statewide fiber network.

Earlier in their career, Joe held various leadership roles at Choice One Communications, CITIZENS COMMUNICATIONS-CABS, and Frontier Communications, focusing on wholesale sales, marketing, and engineering.
