Malcolm Furbert

Malcolm Furbert is currently an advisor at Evertas, a role they have held since December 2015. Prior to joining Evertas, Mr. Furbert served as general counsel and head of compliance and regulatory affairs for XLCatlin in Bermuda from January 2015 to November 2017. From January 2007 to December 2015, they were the Bermuda general counsel for Catlin Insurance Company Ltd.

In February 2018, Mr. Furbert joined Nova Limited as chief strategy officer & general counsel, a position they held until June 2020. Malcolm began their career in 2005 as SVP and general counsel for American International Company Limited (an AIG Group Company) and also spent time working in reinsurance.

Malcolm Furbert has a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Bristol and a BA in Economics from Dalhousie University.
