Laura Abella

Laura Abella currently serves as the Gerente de Gestion Humana y Desarrollo Organizacional for Evertec, focusing on the development and implementation of corporate human management practices in Uruguay and Brazil since April 2019. Additionally, Laura has been a docente y tutora at Universidad Católica del Uruguay since March 2010, teaching courses in Communication and Labor Relations, and advising postgraduate theses. Prior experience includes serving as Gerente de Consultoria en Gestion Humana at PwC from 2005 to April 2019, where leadership was provided on human resource management projects across Uruguay, Brazil, and Bolivia, and as Coordinadora de Desarrollo at Credit Uruguay Banco from 2001 to 2005, where competency management systems and annual training plans were implemented. Academic credentials include a Maestría en Estudios Organizacionales from Universidad Católica del Uruguay, a Diploma in Gestión de Recursos Humanos from Universidad ORT Uruguay, and a Licenciatura en Psicología from Universidad de la República.
